Position Summary:

Pipette Calibration Technicians will be expected to

  • perform timely calibrations and preventive/corrective maintenance
  • process calibration documentation
  • provide balance and basic laboratory equipment set up, calibration, and inspection/cleaning.

The position will assure compliance to our ISO 9001:2008 Quality System and our Customers’ requirements. Candidates should also be able to pay attention to detail, work in a highly documented and controlled environment, and have experience and understanding of regulatory standards.  Many assignments will require working in a cleanroom environment. Technicians are expected to be able to perform tasks independently with minimal supervision. Equipment and general tools are provided by the company.

 

Position Pre-Requisites:

Candidates should have at least two years experience in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology and Medical Device industry. Candidates should be in good physical condition and able to work in sometimes difficult conditions. Minimum two (2) years experience in pipette calibration, repair, installation, and troubleshooting. Process instrument validation, repair, installation, and troubleshooting preferred. Minimum high school diploma required. Technical education/training or a combination of coursework or certifications preferred. Computer literacy and strong communications / customer relation skills required. Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

 

Travel:

Technicians will be assigned to perform services at multiple site locations. Overnight stays are possible (mostly regional). Some positions available include a car allowance for business miles driven.
