Analytical Field Service Engineer
Evolution Scientific is a rapidly growing service organization looking to continue growth through the addition of an additional field service engineer.
ESi is seeking a highly skilled, motivated and customer focused professional to join our Field Services Organization in the Mid Atlantic area.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot and support LC, LC/MS, HPLC, GC, GC/MS
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with external and internal customers ensuring their success
- Manage customer expectations, by communicating work performed and providing follow up plan asif needed
- Ensure customer compliance regulations are followeds
- Issue field service reports on a daily basis to document work performed
- Maintain sound knowledge regarding the technology and customers’ application demands
- Work with Sales team in respect to identifying future business development opportunities and needs for service contract sales
- Ensure that quality system procedures and Health & Safety standards are adhered to at all times
Qualifications:
- BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology, engineering or other science related field
- 2 years’ experience with installation, performance maintenance, troubleshooting, support and/or end user utilization of scientific instrumentation, preference for LC, LC/MS, HPLC, GC, GCMS
- Valid Driver’s License in good standing is mandatory
- Overnight travel as required including international travel for training
